It's Bellie and Eddie time, folks. And the Winter 2010 round has something new and brilliant: "Story that Haunts Your Dreams". This is a category dedicated to fic that pwns you so hard you have to read it again. And again. And again. A fic that hurts so good you can't stop thinking about it, not even in your sleep.
I rarely go back and read entire fics (especially since I'm into a lot of lonnnng multi-chapters), but I certainly go back for individual chapters and scenes. When I think of who I will nominate for this category, here is a list of juicies that definitely haunts my dreams:
Over the Top by Starfish 422: I have read the Jasper topping Edward scene, like, ten times
Just One Day by Sassenach Wench: I would expose myself as an incurable perv if I told you how many times I read the CxB scene near the beginning the ExBxJ scene later on. HAWT!!
The Hummer by Mabarberella: Since it's a one-shot, I reread this one in its entirety. To date, I have done so thrice. Did I mention I only found it a couple of weeks ago?
Bittersweet Symphony by I'mwiththevampires08: Read the Truth or Dare scene too many times to count
What I Failed to Realize by BeautifulFigment: I have actually gone back and reread this whole fic, paying special attention to the JxE basement scene, of course
Clipped Wings and Inked Armor by hunterhunting: If you're reading it, you know which scene ;)
The Office by tby789: The La Perla scene and the car-in-the-parking garage scene, among others. Yeah, baby!
Definition by RosaleeLorraine: This sent me to bed with a smile last night, and I was still smiling about it this morning. Which is saying a lot, since there haven't even been any lemons yet.

I have re-read When Darkness Turns to Light by Jannabanana (Bella/Jasper) several times. It made me hard-core Team Jasper.
I am waiting for the perfect Bella/Carlisle fic. I would sell my soul for one that pwned me.
Seriously.
Probably no need to go into the canon fics that pwn me. The list would be pretty close to anyone else's.
But if I'm gonna add a canon fic in, it's going to be Irritable Grizzly Adams. I'm hoarding all updates on that until it's complete because the absence of new chapters breaks my heart. Utterly.

The Screamers by KiyaRaven ...this ALWAYS gives me a laugh & damn... Rob & Edward, (lol not with each other) but phew
The Woods are Lovely, Dark, and Deep by bananapancakes7 ... no lemons yet but it's so well written & the tension & chemistry between the two is awesome. By the time I got to their first kiss I couldn't believe it was just their first. It just felt like they'd already done so much more than kiss.
I just came across Undeniable Attraction by LixiLovesWhitlock a couple of days ago, it's a J/E story that's a bit different & the lemons are beyond HOT
F*ck I went to go & have a quick look at Bittersweet Symphony & skipped a bit to the truth & dare scene...gosh my heart is still beating double time...phew
lol, I love the Clipped Wings and Inked Armor comment. Yeah, we all know what scene you are talking about. It was epic!
One of mine is from The Lost Boys. It's when Edward proposes over the radio to Bella while singing, Romeo & Juliet. It's just beautiful and the song is just amazing. (current ringtone btw).
How about the bar scene from Boycotts and Barflies. "So Hott" is so right!
Haven't read Bittersweet Symphony and now my interest is peaked. Will have to look into that one.

Hmm...okay, I have a couple of guilty pleasures on here, so bear with me: The Red Line. DAMMIT i love that fic. And, well, there are a LOT of scenes to pick from, but I'll have to say...okay, they don't even do it, but...when he backs her into the shower and forgets he's not supposed to be sexin her up yet. I don't know why, but that is HOTT.
OH, and The List by LauraACullen. Jesus, just pick a chapter, there's one in every one! I have to say, my fav is...okay I just went to look at it to pick a fav and couldn't and then started reading it again. :) All I Ever Knew...I love the library scene. Geeze, I picked a lot of scenes where they don't actually do it! OH, but Puma, I'm with you on Over The Top, J takes E. Hooooly Hell. I could go on forEVA, but I'll stop now. :)

My friend and I were recently talking about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory gets cheaper, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.
